This page explains what Scrapbench collects, why, and what you can do about it. We keep it short and plain.
What we collect
- Account details. When you register we store your email address, username and a password. The password is stored in scrambled (hashed) form, not as plain text.
- Billing details. If you join or buy, we collect the name, address and email you give at checkout, and a record of your orders and membership.
- Your library. If you have an account, the cutouts and designs you save are stored with your account so they are there next time you log in.
- Reports. If you send us a message or a content report, we keep what you send so we can respond.
What stays in your browser
Images you upload to the Find and Cut tools are processed in your own browser. They are not uploaded to our servers unless you choose to save a cutout or design to your account library.
Payments
Payments are handled by a third-party payment processor. Card details are entered with the processor, not stored on our site.
Cookies
We use cookies that keep the site working: they keep you logged in, remember your cart and membership, and help pages load faster (our shop, membership and caching software set these). We do not use cookies to sell your information.
How we use your information
We use it to run your account, process orders and memberships, show you your saved library, answer your messages, and keep the site secure. We do not sell your personal information.
Sharing
We share information only with the services that run the site, such as our web host and payment processor, or when the law requires it.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your account and the data stored with it. Use the report form at the bottom of our License & How to Use page and tell us what you need. You can also cancel your membership from your account page at any time.
Changes
If we change this page we will update the date above.
Questions? Use the report form at the bottom of our License & How to Use page.
