Description
Twenty-three chromolithographed plates of medicinal plants from Köhler’s Medizinal-Pflanzen, the German pharmacy atlas that pictured every herb a druggist might stock. Each plate shows the whole plant in rich botanical color, with flowers, seeds, roots and cross-sections drawn around it. Perfect for apothecary labels, tea and tincture packaging, herbalist signage, journals and prints.
Every plate is trimmed to the paper’s edge and brightened, with the printed page number removed. The plant names and family headings stay as the artist printed them, and nothing is retouched or enlarged. These are whole illustrations, not cutouts.
